DSI INTRODUCES COMPLETE TRANSITION SYSTEM

Geneseo IL, USA - January 11, 1996
- Dairy Services International announces the development of a new proprietary transition management system. The system, DSI Complete Transition utilizes a natural approach to addresses the problem of pre- and post-calving transition in high production dairy herds.

Dr. Kopel, president of Dairy Services International, says: "This system has gradually developed over many years of trial and error, and refinement. Though we continue to look for improvement in this and all of our programs, we feel comfortable with the results we have been able to consistently generate. Of course the results will vary between herds, but we consistently see a reduction in the incidence of clinical hypocalcemia and displaced abomasums (often to less than 0.5%), an even lower incidence of ketosis, and accelerated rates of post-calving uterine involution and increase in dry matter intake."

Through its Dairy Direct Services and Management Services divisions, Dairy Services International offers development programs to assist dairy producers throughout the world to achieve exceptional results.
